King Farming was created to provide quality and reliable services to the hardworking local Hawke’s Bay farmers. Within our three core services, we can employ our staff all-year-round and deliver the same great work to our local community.
Kia ora, I’m Sarah King.
I’m a mother of three kids and have been in business throughout the Hawke’s Bay for a number of years. I live a very busy lifestyle and I love it. If you don’t see me on the farm, you’ll find me in the gym or with my whanau.
King Farming started out as a passion to support my whanau. My parents, John and Chrissy King come from a long line of hard working shearers and wool handlers. You could say that shearing runs in the King’s blood!
Together, my brother Jonny and I created King Shearing. The business quickly expanded to King Spraying two years later, due to our strong whanau work ethic. Lastly, King Planting was created to cater to our client’s planting demands – and we were up for the challenge.
The best part is that I’m able to keep all of our staff on around the clock. With each service typically being seasonal, they create ongoing job opportunities. I’m proud to be able to support my team no matter the time of year, and ensure that they’ve got job security.
